Mercury3 Consult Appointed to Develop Northern Powerhouse Rail Concept of Operations & Maintenance
We are pleased to share that Mercury3 Consult has been appointed by Network Rail to support the development of the Concept of Operations & Maintenance for Northern Powerhouse Rail (NPR).
Mercury3 Consult will help develop a clear, actionable Concept of Operations and Maintenance, setting out how Northern Powerhouse Rail will operate and be maintained once in service.
This work will support the programme’s operational and maintenance readiness, helping ensure a smooth transition from design into delivery and, ultimately, operations.
Working collaboratively with engineering, operations, maintenance, systems and programme leadership teams, we will help identify and capture key operational dependencies, lifecycle requirements and organisational responsibilities early – promoting a consistent and integrated approach to operational readiness across the NPR portfolio.
