Creating positive, lasting legacies
Social Value at Mercury3 Consult
At Mercury3 Consult, Social Value isn’t just an initiative; it’s woven into the fabric of how we work, deliver, and grow.
Guided by our values, our Social Value Plan shapes the way we operate and the impact we aim to have on the communities, economies, and environments we serve.
We believe that true success lies in creating lasting, meaningful outcomes, not only for our clients but for society at large.
Our Social Value Plan provides a clear framework for this vision, aligning with the National TOMs (Themes, Outcomes and Measures) Framework 2017 and reflecting our ambitions as a growing, agile business.
Our Approach
We focus our efforts across three key areas: Environment, Society, and Economy, ensuring that we contribute positively at every level.
Whether it’s reducing our environmental impact, supporting community-led initiatives, or creating opportunities through education and upskilling, we’re proud to play our part in building a more sustainable and inclusive future.
By embracing innovation, flexible working, and meaningful collaboration, we continue to reduce our footprint, enhance wellbeing, and invest in people.
From our charitable leave policy and local partnerships to educating our team on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, we remain committed to driving progress with purpose.

We had a genuinely great day with some of the team from Mercury3 Consult. One of those days when you feel that businesses supporting community action is a genuine and symbiotic project. Thanks Mercury3 Consult and the amazing North Yorkshire Moors Railway lineside volunteers.

Social value plays a crucial role in our business, shaping our corporate identity and helping to foster meaningful connections with our surrounding community. We recognise the importance of giving back and we actively engage with local charities that support vulnerable individuals and children in need.
[In 2023], we established our first charitable charter, which serves as a framework for our commitment to supporting local organisations and helps to address regional challenges. This charter enables us to provide resources, funding, and expertise to initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of our communities and environment around us. By prioritising social value, we have not only made a difference to the lives of others, but have also nurtured a strong sense of purpose within our business.
Looking ahead, not only will we fulfil our commitments, but we’ll strive to reach our stretch targets that have been set by our Social Value Team at Mercury3. Additionally, we proactively seek new opportunities to further our commitment and dedication to creating a positive and lasting legacy.
